When comparing Cubase 10.5 vs Studio One 4, the Slant community recommends Studio One 4 for most people. In the question 'What are the best DAWs? ' Studio One 4 is ranked 2nd while Cubase 10.5 is ranked 8th. The reason more composers use Cubase than Studio One (if any use S1), is quite simply that Studio One is too new. Until 4.1.3 it really wasn't in the running for film scoring, but v4 and even recent updates have added a few features that have, for me at least, put it firmly on the radar, and then some.
Some tracks don't start until part way into the score, and I expected garageband to print the sheet music for that track with the appropriate leading rests. However it doesn't. Instead, the score for that track starts with measure one being the first note for that track, rather then the requires rests. You can print professional looking sheet music of your composition by choosing File→Print in the GarageBand menu. Even though Apple makes it easy to use GarageBand, mixing or balancing all the parts of a song so that one track doesn’t drown out another can be difficult and takes practice.
